PARTS and SERVICE |
| E.H.Douglas specialise in servicing and repairs to Land Rover, Range Rover, Discovery and Freelander, catering for all models from 1950 to the present day. | |
| Whether a simple adjustment or major repair, our 5 bay workshop is equipped with the necessary special service tools and ‘state-of-the-art’ vehicle lifts to effect an efficient repair which would be impossible to those with a less specialised facility. | |
| |
| Whilst mainstream servicing is the backbone of this department's activities, inevitably more major work, such as engine, transmission and chassis repairs, is also dealt with. | |
| The installation of up-rated suspension, braking, etc, is also regularly carried out for those customers requiring enhanced handling capability. | |
| A range of diagnostic equipment is on hand to fault-find electrical problems in different areas of the vehicle, such as electronic fuel injection, ABS braking and air suspension systems. This equipment is compatible with the latest models of Range Rover, where virtually every electrical circuit is routed through an ECU. | |
| To keep ‘down time’ to a minimum and to enable the rapid turn round of vehicles, the parts department has a computer controlled store housing in excess of 4000 different Land Rover parts. A range of second-hand parts is kept on site. | |
| Courtesy vehicles are available if required. Alternatively, collection and delivery can be arranged in the locality and a mainline railway station is only minutes away. | ![]() |

| All service records are kept on a computer database and a detailed printed report of work done, parts used and advisory notes are provided on completion. | |
| A vehicle inspection can be carried out by arrangement, with a printed report of the findings. If a vehicle is recently acquired, such an inspection can show areas needing future attention or the need for an immediate repair if unsafe. |
